CRANE: A Temporary Monument in Five Movements
October 9, 10, 16 & 17, 2026
For four nights this October, the towering crane at Hunters Point Shipyard becomes a monument of light, music and community voices. Archival photographs, original music and stories from former workers and their families honor generations of Shipyard labor and the African American community whose history helped shape Bayview Hunters Point.
Watch the free livestream at crane.video or join a ticketed watch party in the Bayview or at the Shipyard.
